It was a busy spring for the Giant Retail Services team! New Giant partner stores have been opening coast to coast this year. Since April, we have celebrated five grand opening events at stores in Arkansas, California, Pennsylvania and Utah.

The all-new Giant Little Rock store opened April 1 in Central Arkansas. Located in an impressive 4000-square foot space near the Arkansas River Trail, this is the second retail location for Mat Seelinger, Tony Karklins and Michael Chaffin, the group that also owns Spokes Little Rock. The grand opening event saw more than 60 riders show up for a Saturday morning group road ride.

April also saw the grand reopening of two California-based Giant Partner Stores that were remodeled and unveiled to the public. 6Fifteen Cyclery in Danville, located near the cycling hotspot of Mt. Diablo in the Bay Area, underwent an extensive build-out to add more floor space for bikes and a roll-up front door. More than 100 people showed up for 6Fifteen Cyclery’s grand re-opening event.

A couple weeks after the 6Fifteen Cyclery re-opening, another Bay Area Giant Partner Store had its own celebration. Eden Bicycles, a longtime partner with Giant, celebrated its 15th anniversary by unveiling a remodeled new look and breaking a few sales records including its best-ever single day of sales. Eden Bicycles was one of the first retailers to become a Giant Partner Store back in 2007, and on April 29-30 it held a grand re-opening event to show off a remodel that gives the store a more open and approachable feel for customers.

On the East Coast, Earl’s Bicycle Store in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, underwent a remarkable transformation to become a co-branded store now named Giant Lewisburg-Earl’s Bicycle Store. Updates included new floor tiling, all-new LED lights, fresh paint and all-new fixtures to display Giant, Liv and Momentum bikes and gear.

And finally, in mid-June the three stores that make up the Taylor’s Bike Shop group in Utah unveiled their updated and rebranded stores, which now go by the name Giant Taylors Bike Shops. The stores in Taylorsville, Riverton and Provo all underwent extensive remodeling to improve the customer experience. This family-owned business, which has been a Giant retailer for 30 years and is a vital part of Salt Lake City cycling community, now has a modern new look to go with its stellar reputation for quality service.
